Republic Day Celebrations at Suncity School, Sector 37D

On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Suncity School celebrated the spirit of unity, diversity, and democracy with enthusiasm and pride. The day brought together students from Grades EYP to XII for a series of engaging and meaningful activities. The celebrations began with a Flag Unfurling Ceremony on the School Greens, where the tricolor was unfurled by the youngest students of the Suncity family , Director Ms. Guneet Ohri and Principal Ms. Jayshree Patel, followed by the National Anthem. This solemn moment filled the atmosphere with patriotism and unity. Grades EYP to II engaged in creative classroom activities, fostering early patriotic values. These included crafting soldier figures, creating tulip tricolors, and making tricolor balloons, creating tricolor wall hangings, dolls, and badges. These hands-on activities were accompanied by discussions about the significance of national symbols, helping young learners connect with the spirit of the day. Grades III to XII gathered for the Republic Day Assembly held in the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) showcased a vibrant blend of culture and inspiration. Students delivered a heartfelt speech on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's contributions, presented a dramatic representation of the Preamble, and performed the uplifting song, "Vande Mataram”. The dance performance captured the powerful recitation “Itihas ka Aina” by Shri Amitabh Bachchan. Captivating music and dance performances beautifully embodied the spirit of the day, showcasing India’s rich heritage and unity. The event concluded with inspiring words from the school leadership, followed by the School Anthem.The celebrations reminded us of our duties as citizens and the values that unite us as a nation. Together, let’s continue to uphold the ideals of the Constitution and strive for a brighter, unified future.
