Suncity School 37D proudly hosted its much-anticipated Annual Sports Meet – OORJA 3.0 , a day brimming with energy, perseverance, and teamwork.
Grand Opening & Special Guest
The event commenced with a spectacular opening ceremony, graced by Chief Guest Mr. Ishan Kataria, a decorated boxer, alongwith our Management Member, Ms Nandini Singh, Director, Ms. Guneet Ohri and Principal, Ms. Jayshree Patel . Our National level skater from Grade IV, Nitya Koul proudly presented the 'Mashal ' to our chief guest setting tone to the upcoming event. The Principal, Ms. Jayshree Patel then declared the meet open amidst realse of balloons which soared in the sky , clearly echoing the spirit of those on ground. This was followed by a colourful vibrant walkpast by the Champions Cavalcade.
Mr. Kataria’s inspiring journey as a China Open Gold Medalist and Asian Games Bronze Medalist motivated young athletes, highlighting discipline and perseverance as key to success.
Thrilling Competitions & Performances
From agility drills to strategic team games, students from EYP to Grade 2 displayed remarkable skills in various events, including:
Season Sprint & Harmony Hurdles – Testing speed and endurance.
Gymnastics Groove & Judo Quest – Showcasing strength and discipline.
Yoga for Mind & Body – Emphasizing mindfulness and well-being.
Grammar Chase & Math in Motion – Blending academics with physical activity.
Hopstack Dice Run & Crawly Critters Puzzle Hunt – Encouraging problem-solving through movement.
Cheerleader performances and parent engagement activities kept the excitement soaring throughout the day!
Grand Finale & Closing Ceremony
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks celebrating the dedication of students, teachers, parents, and staff. The National Anthem marked the end of a truly unforgettable sports meet, leaving behind a legacy of determination and teamwork.
A loud round of applause for the Head PYP Ms Jayashree Venkatesh, Head EYP Ms Bhawna Singh , Coordinator Early Primary , Ms Mansi Bhatnagar , the PE department , the Performing Arts team the Administration and support staff for their dogged persistence and hard work.
