Rangoli Making
'Let’s invoke the Almighty for His blessings and spread happiness all around this Diwali'-rightly quoted by the honourable Principal Ms Guneet Ohri on the occasion of Diwali celebration in Suncity School 37 D.
The day started with a Havan Ceremony wherein the entire school offered prayers to surge in positive thoughts, words and actions to pave a way to a successful and cheerful life. This auspicious start was followed by Inter House Rangoli Making Competition. The young Suncitizens from Grade 5-7 made eye-catching theme-based radiant rangolis. The judges had a difficult time declaring winners and the results spoke the same with Indian House and Pacific House jointly sharing the coveted first position. Arctic House secured the second position followed by Atlantic House.
Students of Grades 1-4 participated in the making of traditional clay diyas .
The EYP students were not far behind and they not only decorated the diyas but also gave a global connect to day by celebratiing the Halloween festival.
Ms Guneet Ohri, the Principal, wished everyone happy and prosperous Diwali.
The Suncitizens went home carrying the message of love, peace and joy of the festival.
