Write-up for ‘Bodily Kinesthetic Event’
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
This famous quote by Benjamin Franklin is apt for our young kinesthetic learners. Active play is critical for the physical developmen of the children. It helps them hone their coordination, balance, gross-motor skills and fine-motor skills. Exercise is a fun way to spend time. It simply makes us happy and healthy. Keeping this in mind, the tiny tots of Early Years Programme participated in the ‘Bodily Kinesthetic Event’ on August 14, 2021 wherein they processed information through body and hand movements. The children first performed warm-up exercises to relax their muscles. This was followed by a fun PT drill wherein they used beautiful props like pom-poms and tricolour ribbons through which they showcased their ability to control their body movements and handle their props skillfully. The session ended with relaxing cooling exercises. The children started unknown and finished by gaining an unforgettable learning experience.
