Grade IX of Suncity School, 37 D conducted a special Teachers' Day Assembly with a lot of zeal and gusto.The day began with the warm welcome of all teachers and a 'Bandish' was sung by a student seeking blessings of the almighty. The students spoke about t about teaching being the noblest profession and teachers , their guiding light .Students also threw light on the life of Dr. Sarwapalli Radha Krishnan and the importance of the day.A stellar dance performance and rendition were a part of the tribute to the teachers by the students. A short fun quiz for teachers pepped up the mood of the day with their active participation.They presented a special video with messages for their teachers as a token of love and gratitude.
The assembly concluded with Principal Ms. Guneet Ohri's address to the gathering. She congratulated all the staff members and insisted on quality teaching urged them continue to ignite a spark of learning in children.It was a day for teachers to feel proud of their contribution to society and making a difference!
