"To enter a theatre for a performance is to be inducted into a magical space, to be ushered into the sacred arena of the imagination."- Simon Callow
Students in the ACERs – Performers club are a bunch of theatre enthusiasts, who are confident, charismatic and exceptionally talented. The club started with them learning about the different elements of theatrical performance. They learnt about the importance and impact that good dialogue delivery has on a play, the importance of body language, the impact of voice modulation and expression on the audience.
Learning alone is not enough, it has to be applied. Our theatre aficionados unleashed their learning by performing the ‘Students in the ACERs’ story as a culmination activity and impressed everybody by their magnificent performance.
As Marshawn Lynch says, “When you get to practice against the best, it brings the best out of you.”
