“While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.” – Angela Shwindt
Hear, hear with fun and cheer,
All ye munchkins gather here
To behold a surprise
Unravelled by their teachers so dear!
On the joyful occasion of Children’s Day, the birth anniversary of Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru, the educators of Suncity School 37D put their heart and souls into the Special Assembly planned for their dear students
This time it was the teachers who rehearsed and practiced their lines for the assembly to celebrate the precious gems. The assembly beginning with the customary prayer, thought-for-the-day and the news headlines. The children were enthused to see a completely flipped assembly scenario.
The Mime act by their Drama teacher, a group song and a group dance by the teachers, which included our beloved principal Ma’am too, were the show stoppers of the day and imbued our exceptional audience with great joy. They got their brains tickled by the riddles asked and through a game of ‘Pehchan Kaun’. The presence of the principal Ms Guneet Ohri and her inspiring words, as always, worked like magic and garnered big cheer from the students as well as the teachers-turned-students.
As Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru expressed beautifully, “Children are like buds in garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow.”
