Suncity School 37D observed the Investiture Ceremony for the session 2022-23 with unprecedented fervour on 06-05-2022.
The ceremony signified the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly elected School Council members. The event began with the lighting of lamp amidst the enchanting of Shlokas followed by an enthralling ‘Nukkad Natak’ on the theme of democracy and a melodious medley (a classical fusion)’Myree’ by the school choir.
The event was carried forward with the felicitation of academic scholars and International rank holders of various Olympiads of the academic session 2021-22.The jubiliant office bearers were conferred with badges and saches by the honourable Chief Guest Ms Paramjeet Kaur Narang and Principal Ms Guneet Ohri. The oath taking ceremony was followed by the speeches by the senior school captains.The eminent Chief guest Ma’am Param jit Kaur Narang, Retd. Director of Pathways group of schools, Gurgaon encouraged the young leaderswith her motivating words of wisdom.
The school Principal Ms Ohri inspired and encouraged the newly elected leaders to be dutiful and responsible emphasizing the need to be respectful while conducting their respective duties. She thanked the parents and appreciated the entire team to make the event a successful one.
The students pledged their allegiance to the school and promised to fulfil the duties to the best of their abilities. The ceremony was concluded with the National Anthem.
