To spread the word Suncitizens in collaboration with “ITIHAAS” conducted their annual event -THE SUNCITY RUN 3.0 to promote and raise awareness about the water crisis under the tag line SAVE WATER – EVERY DROP COUNTS with great excitement, vigour and enthusiasm. Participants from all age groups joined and ran to support and promote the worthy cause that this run stood for. Though they were not seen with a cape but everyone was a Superhero, working as a saviours of the most important life source on our planet. In sync with SDG 15, Life on land.
Starting with a musical Zumba warm up session, a flash mob by the students promoting water conservation, the run was flagged off by our Chief Guest Mr. Nishant Kumar Yadav (DC, Gurgaon), Mr Rohit Dalal (Co- founder Suncity School 37D),and the Principal Ms. Guneet Ohri. The provision of water for the participants was done with zero plastic and the use of the 'traditional surahis' was brought into emphasize the availability of eco-friendly options.
The winners were felicitated by the chief guest who congratulated and appreciated all the participants and emphasized on the importance of keeping fit saving water crucial to the survival of every living being on the planet.
