‘’Sharing is a wonderful thing, especially to those you’ve shared with.’’ Julie Hebert
‘Sharing is Caring’; teaching the children to share is teaching them love and compassion. This Children’s Day, November 14, 2022, the gratified ‘Suncitizens’, spread smiles by organizing a ‘Special Treat’ at the school for underprivileged children. A ‘Community Lunch’ was organized wherein the students of Grade II served a wholesome meal to almost 100 underprivileged people with a lot of zeal. This was also in sync with the SDG 2-Zero Hunger. The enthusiastic children experienced the joy of serving the community and thus got engaged in some luminous learning. The joy of the occasion was doubled when the underprivileged children were taken to the play area and were given an opportunity to play on the swings. Children’s Day couldn’t be spent better than making young minds realize that humanity should be the biggest religion for each and every one. A society that can be served in this way, is a society to aspire for.
