The students of Grade I-A conducted the vibrant and culturally enriched assembly on the occasion of ‘Dussehra.’ It was a celebration of our rich cultural heritage, showcasing the spirit of unity, harmony, and creativity.
The assembly commenced with an enthralling theatrical performance, a one act play depicting important episodes from the mythological epic ‘Ramayana.’ With great enthusiasm and dedication, our young actors portrayed the characters of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Hanuman, and others, bringing the sacred saga to life. Their loud expressions, colourful costumes, and impressive dialogue delivery captivated the audience, conveying the values of courage, righteousness, and devotion embedded in the epic.
This was followed by a scintillating ‘Dandiya Dance’ performance. The rhythmic beats of the ‘Dandiya’ sticks echoed as the children danced with infectious energy and enthusiasm. Their colourful attire and synchronized movements added to the festive atmosphere, spreading joy and excitement everywhere.
The assembly concluded with the motivational words by the Principal Ms. Guneet Ohri, who inspired the students and guided them to become responsible and compassionate individuals, contributing positively to the world around them.
