CAS Programme - to Village Mehendipur Dabodha - PHASE I
On July 29, 2024, students from Grades IX and XI, visited Village Mehendipur Dabodha. This visit marked the successful completion of Phase I of our Community Action Service (CAS) project, promoting stronger connections between urban and rural communities through impactful actions.
Educational Enhancement: Donation of books and literary kits to the village school, enriching their resources.
Digital Literacy: Conducted a Cyber Security workshop to educate the community on safe online practices.
Health Promotion: Led a Dental Hygiene session, emphasizing the importance of oral health.
Sustainable Practices: Demonstrated eco-friendly cleaning solutions, promoting environmental sustainability.
Future Reforms: Grade XI students conducted a socio-economic survey to identify areas for future community service initiatives.
Environmental Stewardship: Organized a tree plantation drive to enhance local green cover.
Technological Support: Donated a desktop to the community library to improve technological resources.
Community Bonding: Shared a communal lunch to foster stronger ties between students and villagers.
Special recognition to Shri Ranjit Dalal for his invaluable guidance and support. Our students effectively addressed immediate community needs while laying the groundwork for future socio-economic initiatives and cultural preservation.
