The bond between a brother and sister is unique, created by love, nurtured by understanding, and strengthened - Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
The students of Grade I B proudly presented a special assembly on the festival of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ which was a vibrant celebration of tradition and culture. The event opened with a serene morning prayer, followed by confident presentations comprising of National and International News, a meaningful 'Thought of the Day,' and a new word to enrich students’ vocabulary. Our little Suncitizens highlighted the importance of extending ‘Rakshabandhan’ rituals beyond family celebrations. This included tying ‘Rakhis’ to brave soldiers of the nation and celebrating ‘Vrikshabanshan’ by tying ‘Rakhi’ on trees. The main attraction of the event was a heartwarming skit titled ‘Small Family, Big Bonds’, where students beautifully showcased their creativity and deep understanding of the festival. The assembly culminated with a vibrant dance, leaving the audience brimming with joy and a profound sense of pride in our rich cultural heritage. The children were thrilled to participate in the ‘Rakhi Trivia Quiz’ demonstrating their knowledge and general awareness. The assembly highlighted the outstanding talent of our young performers, reinforcing the principles of ‘Sanskaar’. Principal Ma'am, Ms. Jaysree Patel, commended the students for their outstanding performance, acknowledging their incredible efforts.
