Suncity School 37D hosted the much-anticipated Techtonik 4.0, an event that was a vibrant celebration of innovation, creativity, and the spirit of digital transformation. The event provided a platform where young minds came together to code, compete, and collaborate, demonstrating the boundless potential of technology in shaping the future.
The morning began on an enthusiastic note with the Principal, Ms. Jayshree Patel, extending a warm welcome to all present. She delivered an inspiring welcome speech, appreciating the participants’ zeal and wishing them all the very best. This was followed by an encouraging message by the Director, Ms. Guneet Ohri, who emphasized the importance of cultivating digital competencies in today’s rapidly evolving world. The event was then formally declared open by the Chief Guest, Mr. Amit Kataria, a visionary EdTech entrepreneur and global HR leader. With his groundbreaking work at SARAS and his efforts to revolutionize AI education, Mr. Kataria is shaping the future of talent. His inaugural address inspired the young participants to embrace digital innovation, collaboration, and harness the power of technology to solve real-world problems.
With participation from over 25+ schools across the region, Techtonik 4.0 featured 13 exciting tech-centric events, six of which were held online, showcasing the diverse skills and talents of the participants. From coding challenges to design competitions, the event provided an enriching space for students to immerse themselves in the world of cutting-edge technology and explore their creativity in various fields.
The event featured a wide array of competitions designed to test and showcase the participants' technical proficiency, creativity, and innovation. Canva Creations, a graphic design competition, challenged students to create visually compelling designs using Canva. In Futurescape, students presented futuristic solutions to global challenges, while Chronicles of Sustainability explored the intersection of technology and environmental sustainability, proposing innovative tech solutions to reduce environmental impact.
The event also showcased the principles of continuous improvement through Kaizen Kraft, where participants applied design thinking to solve real-world problems. Students engaged with the field of artificial intelligence in Sonic AI, developing sound-based applications, while Kaizen Kronos focused on time management and productivity innovations.
The creative and technical skills of students were further highlighted in the Innovate to Elevate Paint 3D event, where participants demonstrated their expertise in 3D modeling. In Kaizen Quest – Scratch, beginners showcased their coding abilities by creating interactive projects using Scratch. Another event, SwampScript – App Presentation, provided a platform for students to present the apps they developed, illustrating their practicality and innovation.
Students delved into the world of artificial intelligence and machine learning in AImaginate – Presentation, presenting their projects to an expert panel, while Code Conquest – Python tested participants' algorithmic and coding abilities in Python.
The level of creativity, skill, and technical expertise demonstrated by the students was extraordinary, making it a day full of learning, collaboration, and growth. A panel of experts and judges from the tech industry evaluated the students’ work, offering valuable feedback and motivating the participants to continue their journey into the world of technology.
The event culminated in a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony, where winners from various schools were felicitated for their outstanding performances across both online and offline categories. Each winning team and individual participant was awarded medals, certificates, and tokens of appreciation by the respective judges of the events, accompanied by the school’s Principal, Ms. Jayshree Patel.
The moment of great anticipation arrived with the announcement of the Overall Rolling Trophy, which was proudly bagged by Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurugram, for their exceptional performance across multiple categories. The winning team was felicitated by all the judges, the Principal, the Vice Principal, and the Section Representative, amidst resounding applause and cheer from the audience.
Techtonik 4.0 proved to be a resounding success, highlighting the incredible talent, creativity, and innovation of the next generation of tech leaders. The event served as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of technology and its potential to bring about positive change in the world.
