The morning of Ganesh Chaturthi at Suncity School, 37D, was filled with devotion, joy, and cultural vibrance as students of Grade VII led a special assembly in honor of Lord Ganesha—the remover of obstacles and the giver of wisdom.
The program began with Ganesh Vandana, where our Principal Ms Jayshree Patel joined in the auspicious ritual. With folded hands, the entire school community invoked the blessings of Lord Ganesha, setting a serene and divine tone for the day.
The highlight of the assembly was a drama performance depicting two significant episodes from the life of Lord Ganesha—His divine creation and His famous bet with Kartikeya, which established Him as the first deity to be worshipped. The students’ lively acting brought these stories to life, leaving the audience spellbound.
Adding rhythm and energy to the celebrations, students presented a graceful dance performance dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The vibrant moves and devotional expressions filled the atmosphere with joy and festive spirit.
Another proud moment during the assembly was the felicitation of our talented students who participated and won laurels in Techtonik 4.0, an inter-school Tech event that celebrates creativity, innovation, and talent. Their achievements were applauded by all, and they were honoured on stage for bringing recognition to the school.
The celebration concluded with inspiring addresses by our Principal Ma’am. Their words motivated the students to walk the path of wisdom, discipline, and devotion.
The program came to a close with the School Anthem and the National Anthem, uniting everyone in pride and respect.
