Today marked a proud milestone as we hosted our inaugural SYP Book Discussion! Eight brilliant student delegates gathered for an intense, four-round roundtable on the powerful anthology, Heart Lamp.
The depth of the discourse was staggering. From exploring the nuances of dark humor and patriarchal hypocrisy to confronting the stark realities of gender roles and societal expectations, our students proved that their capacity for empathy and critical thought knows no bounds.
To pass the baton forward, our two best-performing delegates were awarded copies of Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird in preparation for our next session.
This phenomenal intellectual exchange was the absolute perfect bookend to our internal activities. The stage is now officially set. Next stop: BIBLION!
