‘Every monument has a story to tell, waiting to be discovered by curious minds.’
As part of the Education Through Monuments (ETM) approach, students of Grades III, IV, and V stepped beyond the classroom into the pages of history and science. Aligned with the TASK pedagogy (Trip, Application, Skill, Knowledge), students first experienced Trip-based learning by visiting real-world sites, deepening their understanding through the ETM approach.
At Qutub Minar, Grades IV and V explored the monument’s architectural brilliance, admiring its intricate carvings and timeless design. They also engaged with historical marvels like the Iron Pillar and Alai Minar, sparking curiosity and meaningful discussions. Throughout the visit, students showed keen interest in the monument’s symmetry, surrounding ruins, and historical significance.
The experience promoted collaboration, communication, and reflective thinking while fostering respect for cultural heritage.
Meanwhile, Grade III students discovered the wonders of time and astronomy at Jantar Mantar, exploring instruments like the Samrat Yantra and Ram Yantra in an interactive learning experience.
From keen observations and note-taking to reflective discussions and a follow-up virtual session, the visits blended learning with exploration seamlessly. Add to that a joyful journey filled with songs, laughter, and shared moments—the experience was truly unforgettable!
A perfect blend of learning, curiosity, and joy—because the best lessons are lived, not just taught.
