Lights. Laughter. Learning.

At Suncity School, every experience is an opportunity to discover, reflect and grow. Our Grades III–V learners recently embarked on an enriching TASK (Trip | Application | Skills | Knowledge) Movie Outing, where storytelling became a powerful medium for meaningful learning.

Grade III was captivated by the heart-warming journey of Toy Story, while Grades IV and V immersed themselves in Sheep Detective, sharpening their observation, inference and critical-thinking skills through an engaging mystery.

Beyond the screen, the experience inspired creativity, collaboration, empathy and thoughtful problem-solving, reaffirming that some of the most valuable lessons are learnt beyond the four walls of a classroom.

Back at school, learners reflected on the narratives, exchanged perspectives, identified key takeaways and connected the themes to everyday life, transforming an enjoyable outing into a rich learning experience.

A day of wonder, meaningful conversations, shared laughter and lasting memories—where every story sparked imagination, every moment inspired reflection, and every experience became a stepping stone towards lifelong learning.
