Pause. Connect. Unplug. Reconnect!

As screens become an integral part of everyday life, learners of Grades III–V took a mindful pause during an engaging session on Digital Playground Rules– “My Happy Screen-Time: Digital Wellbeing for Kids!”, conducted by Ms Megha Saraf, a TEDx Speaker, Workshop Leader, Computer Science Educator, and Google Certified Educator.

The session encouraged learners to reflect on their screen habits and discover the importance of balancing technology with outdoor play, reading, creativity, family time, and meaningful real-world experiences.

Through interactive conversations, hand gestures, thoughtful questions, and personal reflections, learners explored simple strategies for healthier digital habits, including the 20-20-20 Rule, movement breaks, screen-free mealtimes, and avoiding screens before bedtime.

From cycling and drawing to reading and playing board games, our learners discovered that there is a whole world of joy waiting beyond the screen!

A meaningful session that reminded us that digital wellbeing is not about giving up technology—it is about learning to use it wisely and finding the right balance.
